If you didn't catch onto The Winery Dogs the first time around, now is the perfect time to get into the band. The trio of Richie Kotzen, Billy Sheehan and Mike Portnoy are expanding upon their 2013 disc with two new packages.

'The Winery Dogs Special Edition' consists of two CDs, with the first being the band's standard self-titled album, while the second is titled 'Unleashed in Japan 2013' and consists of 10 tracks recorded live during the band's touring last year. One of the songs, 'Criminal,' was previously unavailable in the U.S. The set is also bolstered by a 16-page booklet of live photos and lyrics.

Also arriving at the same time is 'Dog Treats: The Winery Dogs Deluxe Special Edition.' This set will be sold in a box resembling the packaging for dog treats and will include the special edition collection plus a DVD featuring four music videos and interview footage, demos from the original recording sessions, a "studio diary" written by Mike Portnoy and some unique merchandise unavailable elsewhere. Both packages are expected to surface in April.

In other news, The Winery Dogs have a trio of late March tour dates that have recently been announced. The group will play a two-night stand at New York's B.B. King's Blues Club and Grill on March 25 and 26 before heading out to Chicago for a March 27 performance at the Arcata Theatre.
