Happy National Boss Day to all the great bosses out there!

I am extremely fortunate that I love my boss. He doesn't get mad if I call in sick, he lets me run my daughter to preschool early in the morning during the morning show commercial break (hee-hee), and he tells me how much he appreciates me and my work!

I have the best boss ever!

And it's about time I got a great one because I have had some really sh*tty bosses in the past.

One boss fired me because she said our "working relationship just wasn't working for her." She then rehired the previous person who did my job (who had wanted to come back from an early retirement). Firing me was just a ruse. RUDE.

Another boss had me laid off because the company was going in a different direction and I didn't portray the "hood rat, thug, party girl" image they wanted.

Another boss at this insurance company I once worked for was snippy, stuffy and crass, and a "know-it-all." Our entire department loathed her. I even had colleagues from other departments whisper in my ear that felt sorry for me that I had her as a boss. When it was my turn to go out of town to visit our clients in Nevada, she chose someone else instead of me. I hated her with a purple passion. I was so happy when I quit that crappy job. Good riddance to her!

What's the worst thing a boss can do before you've just had enough to quit?
