Timbrrr! A Music Festival In Leavenworth? [Photos]

Did you know that there is a winter music festival in our own backyard? Yes, the Timbrrr! Winter Music Festival takes place every January in that joyous little Bavarian mountain town of Leavenworth.

People from all over the state come to Leavenworth at this time of the year not only to enjoy the winter weather but also to enjoy a plethora of rising music acts spread out around the town while enjoying their fair share of "hot toddies" and local beers - while partaking in the amenities that Leavenworth has to offer. In the past Timbrrr! has featured many musical acts such as Ra Ra Riot, Hobosexual, The Thermals, and even Yakima's own Planes on Paper.

This year the lineup featured Bay Area garage rock quartet Shannon and The Clams, Portland's Kyle Craft, Jenn Champion, Monsterwatch, PNW super group Slang (featuring members of Sleater-Kinney and The Thermals) and The Joy Loves paying tribute to late R&B/soul singer Aretha Franklin -- who passed away last year.
