I most recently learned that when you leave your change when checking into a plane it gets taken to the TSA [Transportation Security Commission] office in one of their accounts. What the heck? In 2014 TSA counted the loose change that was left at airports, according to CNN Money, over that year and it totaled to be $674,841. That is a nice chunk of loose change. It is almost $36,7000 more than 2013. But the question is, what becomes of this money? A spokesman for TSA said it is simply put in a fund for TSA. Since we know this knowledge, the should put it to better use. Maybe for an amazing charity like our United States Veterans. That is a better use of it, I would think.
