Not everyone in the state of Minnesota has it in for Vikings kicker Blair Walsh.

Walsh, who missed a 27-yard chip shot in the closing seconds that would've essentially given his team a victory over the Seattle Seahawks in last week's NFC Wild Card playoff game, met with grammar school students on Thursday who wrote him letters of support.

The first-graders attend Northpoint Elementary School in Blaine.

The meeting certainly struck a chord with Walsh, 26.

And while he talked about the kick, he also made sure to discuss other matters that are very pressing to the grammar school set:
