Walmart Asks for Donations to Feed Their Own Employees [POLL]

The Walmart in Canton, Ohio is cause quite a stir by posting this at their location. They're, basically, asking customers to donate food to help feed the employees.

As posted on the OurWalmart Facebook page the sign reads:

Please donate food items here so Associates in Need can enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner.

Which is when I turn to you for your thoughts. Do you think it's nice of Walmart to use precious inventory space to ask for donations for its employees or do you believe that Walmart should just pay their employees more to enjoy the holidays.
