West Valley Walmart Closed As Police Investigate

Yakima Police say the West Valley Walmart is closed as they investigate a device found in the store early Wednesday. Capt. Jay Seely says an employee found what looked like a pipe bomb inside the store.
The store was then evacuated. Police say no threat was called into the store and no injuries have been reported. A special unit from the Yakima Training Center is now checking out the device the make sure it's not dangerous.

Police are posted at the entrances to the store as the investigation continues.

There's no word if or when the store will reopen Wednesday.
