As a self-described "beer snob" myself, I certainly have my own opinion as to the difference between what constitutes "good" beer versus swill.

In fact, beer tasters and afficianados can sometimes be as downright pretentious as those high-falutin' "winos."

What is the best beer in the state of Washington?  Certainly debateable, but the folks at AleHeads.com have compiled a list of reviews, with the help of  from beer drinkers around the country at BeerAdvocate.com and determined the best beer in each state in the union.

Who was named best in the Evergreen State?

   That honor would go to Fremont Bourbon Barrel Abominable: “Lovingly referred to by Fremonters as the B-BOMB, this bourbon barrel-aged edition of our winter ale has a warming spicy aroma and rich carmelly notes of bourbon, wood and vanilla added to dark roasty chocolatey malt flavors and subtle hopping.”
