As a person who makes a living with my voice and not my good looks ("Hey! You have a face for radio!") it always ticks me off when I hear famous actors' voices in TV commercials that don't even include their faces.

I could understand if you want George Clooney's mug, and not mine, to pitch your product. But seriously ...  I can read just as well as any of the Hollywood A-listers. Besides, most of the companies that hire these celebs are major, as in DEEP-POCKETED, companies.

Does Clooney really need a couple more million dollars to do a voice-over?  Spread the love to us minor local celebrities!

See if you can match the face to the audio clip. You might be surprised who's been hawking the stuff you don't really need all these years!
