The premise of a used battery store might seem lame, but riddle me this, Batman: Have you ever taken used batteries out of your remote and shaken them only to have them work again for awhile? Of course you have. So why can't we drop off our used batteries at a place where they have an industrial-strength shaker so they'll work for several days after shaking?

There's obviously still some power there. And they could organize them by category ... batteries used to power flashlights on Aisle 1, former XBox controller batteries on Aisle 2 and dildo batteries on Aisle 3, so you know the history of your batteries and how roughly they were treated and whether you want to handle them with gloves. Maybe they even sell items like sodium chloride, lemons and copper wire so you can make homemade batteries.

They could call it "Salt & Battery." You're welcome!
