I have been in radio a really long time. I don't think there is a song in any genre that I have not heard. I have met so many people who listen to the radio stations that I have worked at and heard so many people's opinions about the kind of music that whatever radio station I worked at, at the time played. But the ones who stand out are the ones who like you for you -- not because you play "Stairway to Heaven" over and over.  I appreciate those people because they appreciate me. I get that "haters will be haters," but I really don't care. It takes a special person to move past that and be your friend.  KATS listeners are those people. Even the ones who come up to you and say "OMG, you play to much Led Zeppelin" then turn around and ask "How is your family?" That is amazing to me.

Anyway, this week, I got a present from a listener. It is a beautiful Central Washington Bike Night glass etching. OMG! I will cherish it for the rest of my life. That had to have taken many hours to create.

We had another listener take a wonderful photo of bikes at one of our Bike Nights and he blew it up and put it in a very expensive frame. That is also amazing!

I have had some awesome listeners in other states as well like, Billings Mont., but basically, out of all the radio station that I have worked at in my life, KATS listeners are the best.
