Wildfire Season Strikes Selah [VIDEO]

Did you smell the smoke as you went outside this morning?

Many folks from Selah to Terrace Heights could as Collins Ridge over in the Wenas area was in flames overnight.

This morning, several Selah residents were reporting power outages and fluctuations as crews work to contain the blaze.

At least 500 acres burned overnight.

The Red Cross has set up a shelter at the Selah Civic Center for anyone displaced by the fires.
