Yakima-Area Marines Celebrate 239th Birthday of the Corps By Singing Marines’ Hymn in a Bar

Yesterday was the 239th birthday of the United States Marine Corps. Since this is 2014 and the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776, it doesn't take a math wiz to realize that the "jarheads" have been around longer than this land was separated from British rule.

Last night some local Marines celebrated with us at Jack-son's Sports Bar during our Monday Night Football party. They regaled us with the Marines' Hymn and included all three verses!
