Andrew McCutchen started the first month of the baseball season in the worst slump of his career.

The Pittsburgh Pirates star outfielder sizzled in May, though, hitting .330 with five home runs and 17 RBIs. Meanwhile, the Pirates have won eight of their last 10 games and trail the Chicago Cubs by just one game for second place in the National League Central Division.

The team won Saturday night in San Diego, and a couple of young Pirates fans were in the first row by the outfield wall celebrating the last out of the win. That was when 'Cutch' spotted the kids and handed them his batting gloves. The two boys went crazy celebrating their new souvenirs from their favorite player. Something so simple as a ballplayer giving away his batting gloves can make a kid's childhood, and these two are lucky enough to have their big moment captured on video.
