YVCC Hosts Summer Athletic Camps
Yakima Valley Community College’s Athletic Department is hosting basketball, softball, and volleyball camps this summer.
Looking for something engaging for your child to do this summer? Sign them up to attend YVCC’s athletic camps!
Basketball Camp: Basketball fundamentals students will learn include: ball handling, passing, rebounding, offensive movement, shooting, defensive responsibilities and fastbreak.
Softball Camps: Hosted in conjunction with Yakima Steelers, this softball camp will help participants improve their hitting, pitching, outfield, and infield play. Cost varies depending on session(s).
Volleyball Camp: This camp is geared toward all beginning, intermediate and advanced players who would like to improve their skills and abilities. Cost is $85.00 per session. Each camper will receive instruction in the latest techniques for setting, passing, serving, spiking, blocking, resistance training, and defense. Basic team concepts of offense and defense will also be covered. In addition, each camper will receive a free camp t-shirt.
