This Saturday, April 17th, 2021 beginning at 10 am there will be a pop-up Covid-19 vaccination clinic located at 15 North Naches Ave in Yakima. You can pre-register yourself beforehand or head on down this Saturday to get yourself set up if you are 18 and over and while supplies last. This shot is the Pfizer vaccination.

There will be resource bags available filled with face masks, gift cards to Fiesta Foods, and tacos to enjoy.

The Latino Community Fund has been able to provide incredible assistance during the pandemic. When people were having issues affording their rent they could apply for assistance last year and so much more. It's worth a follow on social media and a big thank you to the crew Cristina Ortega and more who spend their time working to figure out what the residents of the Yakima Valley are in need of most.

Right now it's that dang vaccination and this pop-up was put together by Community Leaders in partnership with the Yakima Health District.

If you've also been wanting to give back to the community the Latino Community Fund is searching for volunteer applicants for the Washington Latinx Youth Innovation Challenge. The cut-off date to apply is Tuesday, April 20th, 2021. This opportunity will put you right in the mix learning how to plan and run a successful event. The ask is only two hours a week commitment from May through July. This kind of experience is worth it for anyone wanting to learn more about events.
