Floating Kennewick Cows

With the high rivers, particularly the Yakima, I figured a few floating cows would be reported this year.

The Kennewick Police Department found one in the canal last week.

I'm not sure why anyone in town in Kennewick would have a cow near a canal, but there it is.

A cow would surely clog the canal behind the station here at Summitview.

In the past, I have seen them floating by while fishing the spring catfish spawn on the lower Yakima flats, which I often speak about.

Which reminds me, the rivers are very high after our weekend storms. Stay off the river and be very mindful bank fishing.

...And watch out for floating cows!
