Today is the first full day of Chanukah as the Jewish began to celebrate an eight-day holiday commemorating the rededication of the Holy Temple at sundown last night.
It runs almost concurrently with the Christian holiday of Christmas as it starts anywhere from late November to late December.

The plight of Jewish kids who do not celebrate Christmas was given a comedic spin when Adam Sandler first recorded "The Chanukah Song" to highlight the many famous jews who have made a name for themselves mostly in the entertainment business.  He has since updated the song twice, including a version complete with backing chorus.

With that, I thought what better day than today to wish all of the famous Jewish rockers a happy Chanukah!
