Ice Storm Wreaks Havoc From Yakima To Tri-Cities

The year of suck continues to suck as an ice storm cripples the area the last few days of the calendar year.

A WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect this morning and there is a sheet of ice out your front door to prove it. The ice will result in difficult travel conditions, meaning if you do not have to go anywhere until temperatures begin to rise, wait it out. The forecast says additional ice accumulations of one tenth of an inch are possible, but as we checked the radar shortly before 8:00 am it looked as if the worst has past.
