It was 10-days of all out great food and fun. The 10-day run of the Central Washington State Fair ended on Sunday with thousands of people spending a lot of time and money having fun Yakima's State Fair Park. KIT spent several days at the fair talking to food vendors and stage entertainment.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE FOOD DURING THE 10-DAY RUN OF THE FAIR

People found all the favorite fried foods this year along with 22 new food items that everyone enjoyed. The CEO of State Fair Park Kathy Kramer also made big changes to the operating hours after vendors suggested a later opening to attract more people and not spend money on opening during a time when they say they see small crowds.

DID YOU LIKE THE NEW HOURS THIS YEAR?

The fair, for the first time this year opened at 2:00 pm. Monday through Thursday and 12:00 pm Friday through Sunday. It was a big change for everyone and fair officials will be talking to vendors and fairgoers about how they liked the change to see if the same hours will be in place for next year's celebration.

ALL THE ENTERTAINMENT WAS INCLUDED WITH THE COST OF YOUR TICKET

How about the change in entertainment? For the first time this year the cost of admission also included all the entertainment. The on stage live fun included tribute bands for ACDC, Prince, The Beach Boys, Queen, Jason Aldean and Kenny Chesney. But there were also comedy and strolling acts that roamed the fairgrounds and Reptile Lady that allowed people, including our own Brian Stephenson to get up close and personal with snakes and lizards. The carnival area and rides kept thousands of kids smiling and the Yakima Valley Sundome was full of vendors offering everything from cheese cakes and candy to hot tubs and jewelry.
