
Yakima Valley Makes Top 10 for Fall Travel
Think about the fall and what you did when you were a kid. If you grew up in the Yakima Valley you know fall is a special time for an ag based community.

Many people around the country agree the Yakima Valley is a great place in the fall with soo many fun family activities and harvest parties. In fact the Yakima Valley has been selected as the sixth best place to visit among twenty communities in the USA TODAY 10 Best Destinations for Fall.

Did you vote? A press release from Yakima Valley Tourism says the selection of Yakima and other communities is the result of online votes by USA TODAY readers and others between August 11th and September 8th.
THE CEO OF YAKIMA VALLEY TOURISM IS PROUD
Yakima Valley Tourism CEO John Cooper says he's excited the valley has been recognized as a great place to visit in the fall "given our many harvest events and celebrations, great weather and fall beauty."
THE ONLY PICK FROM WESTERN US
Cooper says the Yakima Valley is the only community in the top ten from the Western United States. He says this is the third time the valley has been recognized by USA TODAY. Earlier this year the valley placed 4th best wine region in the United States. Last year Yakima was number one!
