Golden Girls Dress-Up Night

Let's start off with the event I'm most intrigued by: a Golden Girls-themed Dress-Up Night.

This event will be at the Sports Center (214 E. Yakima Ave) on Friday at 9 p.m. Dress up like your favorite Golden Girl and dance the night away with DJ Silver. No cover charge has been listed.

Midnight Maddness Youth Night

High school-age kids can have a fun night on the town in a safe environment at the Downtown Y (5 Naches Ave) with the "Midnight Maddness" event from 9 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.

Trivia Night

Schab's Bier Den (22 N. 2nd St) is hosting Trivia Night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., hosted by "A-ARON" the T-Rex.

Art Gallery Poetry Night After Party

Check out this cool poetry night event at the Larson Gallery (1606 W. Nob Hill Blvd.) "Inspired: The Art of Poetry" is getting locals socializing with each other with an after party. There will be food, wine, and improv music provided by Huckleberry Pulpo from 5 to 7 p.m.

Decades Friday Night Karaoke

A special night of singing is happening at The Warehouse Sports Bar (405 S. 11th Ave). Dress up like somebody that stepped out of a time warp from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, and get ready for some flashback karaoke and prizes with DJ Forbes.

Spaghetti Feed Fundraiser for a Pet Rescue

Want to support the Wags to Riches Animal Rescue & Pet Sanctuary nonprofit and stuff your face with spaghetti? Then get a ticket for the Spay-ghetti and No Balls Fundraiser at the Yakima Valley Museum (2105 Tieton Dr). The event is from 4 to 7 p.m. This event is family-friendly, and tickets will be sold at the door.

Crab Feed Fundraiser #1

The CWS B11 EA Sports Club is hosting the Fresh Dungeness 2025 Dungeness Crab Dinner. This is a 21+ only event, from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Terrace Heights Grange #586 (3701 W. Birchfield Rd). The party starts at 6 p.m.

Crab Feed Fundraiser #2

SOZO Sports Complex (2200 S 36th Ave) will serve up crab to raise money for Adopt-an-Athlete. A 21+ event.

Live Music with a Local Celebrity

Local Yakima music legend Wayman Chapman is back to woo the crowds at Hoops (2103 W. Lincoln Ave) from 6 to 9 p.m.

Oscar Night at the Symphony

 Head to the Capitol Theatre (19 S. 3rd St.) to enjoy an elegant night on the town as the Yakima Symphony Orchestra performs scores from popular Oscar-nominated movies, including Gone With the Wind, Titanic, Lord of the Rings, and The Godfather. The performance begins promptly at 7:30 p.m.
