Join the Fun with a Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt in Union Gap
Visit Union Gap for some Halloween fun this year. Snap pics of each participating businesses' scarecrows to earn entries for fun prizes! Sponsored by Union Gap Tourism.
I was getting my tires changed at Frank's Point S in Union Gap and Bryan, the owner, comes walking up to me with a big smile and goes, "Hey, did you see our scarecrow out front?"
I told him that I saw a Grim Reaper, but not a scarecrow. That's when he told me that the tall scary-looking creeper was their scarecrow. His business is one of the many who signed up to promote tourism in the town of Union Gap.
HOW DOES THE SCARECROW SCAVENGER HUNT WORK?
Take a pic of each businesses' scarecrow and then send it to the link embedded in Union Gap Tourism's QR code. You can also post your picture here on their Facebook page.
You can take a "selfie" with the scarecrow or not. (I chose not, lol.)
Every picture you send in is another entry to win some fun prizes from area businesses.
This is the second year in a row that they've done this event. I think that's a pretty cool way to get folks to get out more and "sightsee."
"A variety of exciting prizes are up for grabs, including passes to the Union Gap Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch, tickets to Madd Hatters Haunt, gift cards to local restaurants and coffee shops, Halloween-themed baskets, and more." - Visit Union Gap
