Discovering McDonald’s New McCrispy Strips And Creamy Chili Sauce [TASTE TEST]

I found myself, like many, going through the McDonald's drive-thru the other day.

Although McDonald's is something I typically get for myself, it is something I might grab for my loved ones at home.

I'll get myself a Coke every time because, and I can't explain it, McDonald's does have the best Coke.

When I was getting the rest of the family their favorite items I saw something new on the menu that I knew I had to try.

Although so many places offer chicken strips, these McCrispy Strips (because everything is branding) come with a creamy chili sauce.

Creamy chili? Now I'm extra-intrigued.

How are the McCrispy Strips at McDonalds?

Ordering these was one of those situations where they ask you to pull ahead and wait for someone to bring out the order. I never mind when this happens as I know it's being made fresh.

Even after driving the rest of the way home, they were still crispy without being dried out, which was nice.

I didn't know what type of chicken strip I was going to get with McDonald's. Was it basically going to get a long McNugget? Or maybe a little more flat. These were about the right size for something you can still manage to dip into your sauce.

What does the Creamy Chili sauce taste like?

The sauce is new to McDonald's as well. Creamy Chili. I love the concept as so many sauces have been done before. This one was new to me. I love chili and it tasted a bit like when you add too much cheese to your chili. I don't know if 'cheese' is what makes it creamy but it was delicious and a perfect compliment to these new McCrispy Strips.

Not sure if this is a full-time menu option or just something they're trying to see how well they sell, but it's a new favorite for me at McDonald's.
