The beautiful thing about today's technology is that when a product recall happens, you can find out about it sooner than expected rather than wait to hopefully hear something about it on the news.

Today's product recall comes from a chicken that was distributed nationwide so it effects Washington State and everywhere else.

The chicken being recalled is from the Suzanna Kitchen brand based in Georgia. There are fully cooked, breaded, bone-in chicken.

This chicken contains soy but this chicken was mislabeled with a non-allergen product code.

According to the FDA, soy is a major allergen and could cause serious reactions.

The good news is you wouldn't find this in stores. This is more something distributed to restaurants across the United States including right here in Washington State. However, if you're a restaurant who serves this chicken, it's something one should definitely be made aware.

The specific chicken in question was produced on October 16, 2025 and would have been marked with est. #P-1380.

Fortunately, so far, no illnesses have been reported and restaurants who have this in their stock should discard it.
