This ain't the first "Best Week Of Summer" that Joan Jett and The Blackhearts have spent at the Benton Franklin County Fairgrounds.

The concert area was packed with fans that love the classic tunes from Jett's days in the The Runaways and the few that sang along to her recent album gems.

Joan Jett and The Blackhearts have visited the fair here in Yakima and the Tri-Cities many times over the last few years, which seems to have endeared her to a large local fan base. The crowd was treated with smiles as they sang along, often surprising Jett and she took advantage of the energy.

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts were inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015 for eight platinum and gold albums and nine Top 40 singles, including “Bad Reputation,” “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll,” “I Hate Myself for Loving You” and “Crimson and Clover.”
