Kennewick Gets ‘Cameo’ in The Last of Us Part II

The Last of Us Part II is one of the biggest games of 2020. While I haven't played it, I did enjoy the original when it was released in 2013. While the original game had you visit several cities on the east coast, The Last of Us Part II takes place on the west coast, with a primary location being Seattle. The game has 266 collectibles (Batman: Arkham players shudder at the thought), with a good number of them being journal entries. One of these journal entries in question (I'm assuming it's found while the player is in Seattle) talks about a pregnant woman. I'm assuming the author of this journal entry had a close relationship with the woman. The author describes the woman realizing she is pregnant and remembers her "throwing up in Kennewick." While I've yet to play the game myself, I can't wait to find this Easter egg when I finally do. I'm thankful a Redditor was able to share a screenshot of this very cool nod to our home town.
