Remember 1999? You couldn't hardly escape the killer low end and full throttle aggression of Limp Bizkit's "Nookie" playing somewhere on the airwaves. Now imagine not being able to escape that song as it gets stuck on repeat in your CD player. That's the premise of a new Carmax ad, with a self-deprecating cameo from none other than Fred Durst himself.

The Martin agency created the clip that shows a defeated mother driving her kids around to the soundtrack of the song on repeat, as the voice over reveals, "You'd do anything to get rid of this car, but who'd buy it ... with a CD player that's stuck playing Limp Bizkit?"

As she looks up at an intersection, even Fred Durst crossing the street with a bag of groceries looks bewildered. "Just sell it to CarMax. We'll buy any car, even this one," continues the narration, attempting to sell the point that they're open for business, even on vehicles where you might question their worth. "Because that's the way it should be," concludes the ad with the Carmax catch phrase.

"Nookie" became Limp Bizkit's first single to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. It peaked at No. 6 on the Mainstream Rock Chart and No. 3 on the Alternative Songs chart, while enjoying its greatest success at MTV where it regularly was a No. 1 video on the daily TRL countdown show. As the lead single, it also helped propel Limp Bizkit's Significant Other to a seven-times platinum certification by the RIAA. It was also nominated for a Best Hard Rock Performance Grammy.
