The Misfits have just announced another two amphitheater shows for the summer. The horror punk legends will invade Denver and Seattle this September, with guitarist Doyle once again not advertised on the poster.

2019 will be a fairly active year for the Misfits. They’ve got three shows planned already, adding the Denver and Seattle dates to their June 29 show in California. The Misfits will play Denver on Sept. 7 at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre and Seattle on Sept. 14 at the White River Amphitheatre. The Distillers, The Damned and Cro-Mags will open both gigs.

Like the Los Angeles gig, Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein’s name is not mentioned. Doyle is actually scheduled to be in Chapel Hill, N.C. on Sept. 14 during his solo ‘Abominator’ tour, so this adds to speculation that Doyle has been ousted from the Misfits completely.

Doyle’s apparent absence from the Misfits’ summer 2019 shows comes after the guitarist spoke about his distaste for fan meet-and-greets. "The thing that sucks the most about it is that everybody steals music. You spend thousands and thousands of dollars to make a record and all of these scumbags are just stealing it,” Doyle told The Liquid Conversations.

“And then they want more, and then you're a dick because you're doing a meet 'n' greet for 50 fucking bucks to make up for it, which you don't want to do. You think I want to meet all these fucking people? I don't. When I'm done, I just want to take a shower and go to bed.”

Pre-sales for both September shows will start May 15 at 10AM local time. Use the code DEVILSRAIN at AXS and Live Nation. Tickets will go on sale to the general public May 17 at 10AM local time.
