Nickelback Cancels Entire Tour, Cites and Explains Chad Kroeger’s Emergency Health Condition

While many in the state of Washington were blindsided this weekend by the cancellation of not one but two Nickelback concerts, those holding tickets can take some solace in knowing that they won't be the only disappointed fans.

Tuesday morning, via their website Nickelback.com, Mike and Ryan of the band posted a special message detailing the condition of lead singer Chad Kroeger that is forcing them to cancel the rest of the North American tour.

Kroeger was quoted on the website as saying, "I am sorry I have to interrupt the party this summer and I am definitely not thrilled with the prospect of being silent for many weeks to come when I could be out there playing for our fans. I am relying on my doctor and his team to help get my voice back in good form as quickly as possible.”
