It's called the Pipeline Fire, and firefighters from local and state fire teams are battling flames south of the LT Murray Wildlife Area and west of the Yakima Canyon.  The fire is now at 4,000 acres. According to Yakima Valley Emergency Management, the agency and the Yakima County Sheriff's Office have issued what's called a Level 2 "Get Set" evacuation notice. The notice is for those who live in the area to get ready to move themselves and their animals as soon as possible if they're notified. No evacuations have been ordered. The next update is expected at 8:00 a.m.

To help in the firefight, crews are using a special Department of Natural Resources Blackhawk helicopter which is stationed at the Yakima Air Terminal-McAllister Field.
