I took my son to last night's Journey and Asia show at the Yakima Valley Sun Dome. I grew up listening to both band's on the radio and through the years, I've seen Journey many times but the one act I really wanted to share with my son was Asia.
Nothing beats the anticipation of a rock concert. When a bunch of people are standing in line, excitedly waiting to see a band they all love, a kind of impromptu community develops.
Think of it as an in-line community.

I love all types of music. Rock, heavy metal, country, pop and even some rap. Journey and Asia have been on the top of my list ever since I was a kid. I never dreamed that they would tour together -- let alone stop in the Yakima Valley! But that is exactly what is happening this March!
