In this installment of our series of video interviews with David Draiman, he discusses Disturbed's future, fatherhood and the fate of his other band Device.
Disturbed / Device singer David Draiman has just announced that Device will bow out of Avenged Sevenfold and Five Finger Death Punch's upcoming European tour. Draiman noted that the decision was made so the singer could spend time with his family and newborn son.

Disturbed singer David Draiman is currently finding success with his new band Device, whose single 'Vilify' recently topped the Active Rock chart. Meanwhile, Disturbed guitarist Dan Donegan and drummer Mike Wengren are taking off with their new outfit Fight or Flight, as bassist John Moyer continues to work with Adrenaline Mob.
This weekend Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina was supposed to be racing with rock n roll as the Carolina Rebellion Festival took place, sort. The bands took the stage for a full day on Saturday but due to inclement weather the show promoters had to cancel the second day off the festival.
A new band called Device, featuring David Draiman of Disturbed, got together with Lzzy Hale of Halestorm and covered "Close My Eyes Forever". The Original recording featured Ozzy Osbourne and Lita Ford.
As the anticipation builds for the April 9 release of their self-titled debut album, Device have released a short, 45 second black and white teaser video featuring a snippet of their music (watch below). The first single 'Vilify' hits radio on Feb. 19.
