The Yakima County Freedom Rally round 2 was held from 2:00PM to 4:00PM on Saturday

On Saturday hundreds of people who stand against the mandates gathered during a Yakima Freedom Rally at Chesterly Park at 40th and River Road.

June 19th is Juneteenth. Black Independence Day falls on a Saturday this year.

Everyone in the community is invited to Southeast Community Center Park to enjoy the Juneteenth celebration with food, games, NAACP awards, free books for children, basketball tournament, Ms/Mr. Juneteenth pageant and an open mic session.
