Since the Fresh Hop Ale Festival, last year was canceled due to COVID, beer lovers are especially eager to taste those fresh brews this year. However, it won't be business as usual, and COVID will still be a factor in how the event is conducted and experienced.

One of the events, which so many of us look forward to each year, is the 4th of July festivities at State Fair Park. Well. it's coming back in a big way this year and there's so much fun to be had, it's going to take THREE DAYS of fabulous fun to take it all in!
Back in January we told you that the annual Fresh Hop Ale Festival in downtown Yakima was still planning on moving forward with putting on the event in 2021 (slated for Saturday, October 2nd) after a one-year hiatus. That is still the plan (woo-hoo!) but, for now, organizers are delaying ticket sales.
While it really shouldn't come as much of a surprise these days, it still stings every time we find out another concert or event gets canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The latest to officially announce that they are shuttering for 2020? The Fresh Hop Ale Festival.
Seeing this picture reminded me of two things.
a.) I need to pick up some honeydew melons on the way home.
b.) Fresh Hop Ale Festival is coming up in a couple of weeks and we have your free tickets.
