Marvin Koop of Yakima recently bucked the 18.5 million-to-1 odds and scored a cool million bucks with his winning Mega Millions ticket in Washington's Lottery.

The Mega Millions drawing is tonight (July 8) and it is up there pretty high -- $540 million is excellent. Heck, I would take 1/8 of that! Anyway, I bought myself a ticket. I think I will buy another one right before the drawing this evening.

It is always epic when Powerball and Mega Millions get past $100 million. You have to go buy a ticket for only $1.
