With the stay home order in place forcing us to entertain ourselves much more than normal (whatever that is!), many have turned to binge-watching TV shows. But what about our pets? How are they reacting to this new scenario? My cats, brothers Marmalade and Marmaduke, are starting to lose it during the shelter-in-place orders. In a desperate effort to get some things done around the house without constant kitty cravings, my wife stumbled across an eight hour YouTube video called "Videos for Cats to Watch" and the cats have been MESMERIZED!

While it seems to some that our great state of Washington is leading the way when it comes to COVID-19 stay-at-home orders and lockdowns, in reality we're not even in the top 10. Data suggests that there are 14 other states that have more restrictions in place than the Evergreen State.

With shelter-in-place orders now over a month, you, like many, are probably in need of a haircut. Have you considered giving yourself a trim? We want to see it!

I found an interesting article about "herd immunity" and also found dozens of articles on both the pros and cons of taking that approach vis-`a-vis "shelter in place" and wanted to share because it is a concept that I haven't heard many talking about during this pandemic.
