Surely everyone has heard or even recited the 189 year-old poem originally written by Clement C. Moore, "'Twas the Night Before Christmas." It seems though that even Jolly Old St. Nicholas himself  isn't impervious to political correctness.

Most of us are aware by now that not only is smoking detrimental to the health who do it, but also to everyone in their vicinity, as secondhand smoke has been labeled a culprit in diseases like respiratory infections, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and lung cancer. Oops -- and we almost forgot memory loss.

It appears as if some smokers have been forced to either kick the habit or go broke, as a new study recently found that a massive tobacco tax increase may be responsible for the decline in smokers in this country, specifically among teens, the lower class and those who receive welfare.

The brilliant ladies of MTV's 'Teen Mom' may have met their match in Charlie Wilcox. Wilcox, a British mother who smoked 3,500 cigarettes while pregnant, claims all that nicotine was actually healthy for her newborn daughter because it made the girl's heart work harder since it restricted her oxygen supply while in utero.
