Memorial Day is, obviously, today, but, more importantly, it's about remembering those who served that are no longer with us.

While it may not be politically correct to say it aloud, not all who fight and die do so for a noble cause.

The attack on Pearl Harbor happened December 7th in 1941. This is a day that none of us should ever forget. We lost many brave men and woman on that day. It was a surprise strike on United States Naval Base at Pearl Harbor by the Imperial Japanese Navy.

When I saw this video on YouTube I could not believe my eyes.  I looked closely at the screen shots to see if this was a real Purple Heart.  As much of a beating as the medal took from this punk kid, it clearly is a true medal.

Memorial Day is about remembering those who served and are no longer with us. I'd like to share a couple of men whom I will especially be thinking of this weekend.  In fact, they are the men that put the "E" in Todd E. Lyons.
