We all fear being robbed. Being held up, being forced to empty our pockets on threat of physical violence. That is why I try not to carry any cash on me. That and panhandlers. But for a Florida man, what he had in his pockets didn't save him from being robbed.

Last weekend three teenagers held up the unidentified victim while he was walking down the street. They demanded he empty his pockets, for which they were rewarded with nothing but 32 packages of Starburst. A lot of robbers would (I assume) just leave, but not these three. They took his candy, and pistol-whipped him in the head, hopped back into their car and took off.

The teens where arrested the next day and are also suspected in other robberies and carjackings. The man was taken to a hospital, where he is doing fine. No idea if the candy was returned or kept as delicious evidence.
