Virgins Post Creepy Craigslist Ad Seeking Photographer to Capture Wedding Night Consummation
From the files of "Ewww, gross" comes this very odd request.
Back in June, someone in Madison, Wis. posted a pretty far-out ad on Craigslist for a wedding photographer to capture the whole day. And when they say the "whole" day, they're not kidding:
Here's the ad in full:
Hello, my fiance and I are getting married later this year and are looking for a wedding photographer. We are hoping someone will document the whole day from beginning to end. We are specifically hoping someone will document the end, which we are finding difficult to find someone who will. We have both saved ourselves for marriage and understand our first time will be awkward but do not think it will be that much more awkward for the photographer to be there and we'd really like it documented (in a beautiful and tasteful way).
If you are ok with being with us the whole day, please send pricing and some examples of your work. Thank you."
Okay, if you're done showering we can break this down.
Is this something you really want to document? It's not like your first day on your first job when your mom came into McDonald's and snapped those embarrassing photos of you learning how to use the milkshake machine.
And can you imagine being the unlucky soul who gets stuck looking at the wedding photos? No one likes looking at wedding photos, as it is. We don't need to be stuck on the couch pretending to be interested when we come across a photo and the bride describes it by saying, "Oh, this is from when Jim put his finger in a place he never should have." Here's hoping no photographer answers the ad, so we'll never know.
