Yakima Auditor Ross On Election Security

For 15 years Washington State has conducted our elections via Vote-By-Mail.  Auditor Charles Ross is very confident in Washington's system but he is also aware that the national last minute change in a number of other states - switching from polling place voting to vote by mail - offers the possibility of confusion and mistakes.

In our interview Mr. Ross talks in some detail about the tracking system Washington uses to make sure each person gets just one vote that counts.

Charles Ross inspires confidence as he talks about his office and their capability but understandably he can't speak to how other states will operate - and it's those states that concern President Trump and the opportunity for fraud..

If history is any clue, the expectation is that Washington will comfortably go for Biden, despite President Trump's strength on the eastern side of the state.
