Didier Campaign Signs Mysteriously Show Up Missing

With two weeks to go until Election Day, political campaigns across the valley and the state are ratcheting up for a final push toward the finish line. Radio and television advertising is being inundated with messages both pro and con on specific issues and candidates. As the gloves come off in certain camps, the mudslinging begins to rear its head and political chicanery often overshadows the real issues at hand.

Evidence of this was reported today by the Clint Didier for Congress campaign when  organizers of the Republican's bid for Congress realized that numerous yard signs had been removed just days after being posted.

Washington State Incarceration Rate Higher Than All But Three Countries In World

If you haven't noticed, the "Land of the Free" has long since ceased to exist.

A recent article in Reason magazine, cited a chart that was compiled by the Prison Policy Initiative that clearly shows the United States of America far and away leading the rest of the world in rates of incarceration with 716 citizens per 100,000 locked up.  No. 2 is Cuba (510 per 100,000) followed by Rwanda (492).

Guns And Ammo Report — Where To Buy Them

I was having a discussion with a friend recently. He was saying that every time he goes into a store to purchase a gun or some ammo he always gets put on a waiting list. 'Really?" I asked. 'Is it really that hard to find .22 shells? Or other ammo?"

Apparently it is. My friend at Yakima Arms said that he has people stand in line when they know .22 shells have just come in.

That is what convinced me to start this weekly report. From now on I will keep you up on local availability of guns and ammo.
