Grammy 2012 Nominations Suck

The Grammys are a prestigious music award that has happened since May 4th of 1959.I wish that I could get on The Grammy Committee so I can voice my opinion!  I have emailed my opinion on several occasions and every year it keeps getting worse. Granted, after I went and did a little research on who actually was nominated, I have to say that some of the music was not so bad. There is only 3 of the artist that were nominated for the Top Spots that actually deserve to be in that spot light. Taylor Swift, Maroon 5 and Adele.

I was also surprised on who got nominated for the Heavy Metal category.

Although I love all of the metal bands that where nominated only one, Halestorm, is out there 'getting things done'. Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Lamb Of God, Megadeth and even Marilyn Manson are by far some of my favorite bands, but to be nominated for 2012 Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance is ridiculous.

Where in the heck is Five Finger Death Punch, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Stone Sour Shinedown, Chevelle, Three Days Grace, Papa Roach, Pop Evil, Volbeat, Godsmack, Foo Fighters, All That Remains, just to name a few.

I am extremely disappointed in the nominees for the year 2012.
