This Friday, the Yakima Valley chapter of Habitat For Humanity, is breaking ground on their next new home on Friday, June 21st at 7:30 A.M. in Union Gap after having been in the lower valley for the last six months.

Yakima Habitat Volunteer Coordinator Sharon Kearby said the build will occur on the corner of Cornell and Washington behind the condos and they are looking for volunteers and local businesses to help.
They are hoping to get businesses to do either a four hour shift or full day build.
Shifts run 8 A.M. - 12 P.M. and 12:30- 4:40 P.M. Tuesday through Saturday.
