My Valentine’s Day Gift I Promise Not To Lose

Townsquare Media/Todd E. Lyons

My wife Carrie and I spent a great evening together on Valentine’s Day.  We sent our son to spend the night with his grandparents before stuffing our faces at a seafood buffet.

Before dinner, however, my wife got down on one knee and re-proposed to me.  The reason for this is because she had purchased a replacement wedding ring for me as I had lost my original band within the first year of being married.  Like a total schmuck.

I am a simple guy really and didn’t want anything to gaudy and she picked out a basic gold band which is perfect for me.

Now, confession time: Have you ever lost a wedding/engagement ring?
