Pink Heart-Shaped Cloud Hovers Over Yakima Valley Pippins During Cancer Awareness Night
During Monday night's Yakima Valley Pippins game in which the team wore special pink jerseys to acknowledge cancer awareness, a pink heart-shaped cloud formed over the ballpark during twilight.
The photo was captured by Brandi Van De Brake, whose son Jace is off to a tremendous start to the season batting .371 with eight RBI in nine games.
She captioned the photo on her Facebook page with:
"I think it's a pink heart cloud above my boy!"
The game-worn jerseys were later auctioned off to raise funds to benefit North Star Lodge which cares for cancer patients in Yakima
