Saturday, I took my 12 year-old son to his first football game at Husky Stadium.

He has grown-up his entire life with Husky football on tv and radio so I thought it was time he got to experience it personally.
He has been to a couple of pro games at Century Link Field but, honestly, there is something much more festive and less aggressive about the college football experience as opposed to attending an NFL game.

We got in to the U District about 5:15 p.m. for a 6:30 kickoff in a game that the Huskies eventually took any doubt of within the first 10 minutes in a 48-16 thumping of visiting Fresno St. This gave us ample time to roam the area and see some of the old and new.

Here are some of the highlights and landmarks that you may want to keep an eye out for if and when you ever attend a game at "the greatest setting in college football".
