Surely we've all fantasized about being pulled up onto stage by our favorite band or singer to join in, a la` Courtney Cox in Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing In The Dark" video from the mid-80's.  For most of us, I suspect, it is not much more than a passing "what if" moment.

For some, that fantasy gets taken to a whole different level. Take the plight of members of tribute bands.  They are such huge fans of the particular music, they go around and perform under the guise that they actually ARE the band they emulate.

Then, there's Joe Hier of Hollywood U2 - the "world's greatest U2 tribute band" (we are checking the authenticity of that statement) - who indeed WAS brought up onstage by legendary frontman Bono Vox (Paul Hewson) to sing a portion of the band's hit song "The Sweetest Thing" while in concert at the Forum in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

When the song concluded, Bono told Joe he had a great voice.  Then Bono said in a faux-southern accent, "Only in America."
