Yakima Native Scott Hatteberg Portrayed Prominently in New Brad Pitt Movie [VIDEO]

Moneyball
Columbia Pictures

Former Eisenhower High School grad, as well as W.S.U. Cougar, Scott Hatteberg will be played by actor Chris Pratt in Brad Pitt’s latest flick.

On Thursday, Columbia Pictures released the trailer for the adaptation of Michael Lewis’ ‘Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game,’ in which Pitt plays Oakland A’s GM Billy Beane, a man who used unconventional methods to boost his team’s record on a tight budget, which Hatteberg epitomized.

Judging by the trailer, the film looks to be ‘Jerry Maguire’ meets ‘Erin Brockovich.’

‘Moneyball’ hits theaters Sept. 23. Check out the trailer below, which ends with Hattie’s sweet swing.
